Normal people v.s. conspiracy theorists on Thanksgiving.
#2020 has been an unusual year to say the least. T #2020 has been an unusual year to say the least. This is coming from the most unusual of #politicians but there’s still a lot to be thankful for this #thanksgiving

If you’re reading this, that means you’re alive. That’s enough to be thankful for. You’re probably reading this and living in the greatest country in the world 🇺🇸. There are many that wish that they had the opportunity to live in the #usa

Yes these are troubling times and in life there will be good times and bad. The bad times help you appreciate and be thankful for the good times you had and the good ones that you will have in the future.

I know that there are a lot of people that talk about how they can’t stand a relative that they’re going to see on thanksgiving. Some people haven’t spoken to a family member in years. Sometimes the reason for that is because of political disagreements. Tomorrow is not promised. Ask yourself if that person that you supposedly despise today was gone tomorrow, what would you be thinking about at their funeral? Would it be the good memories that you had? There’s an old saying that says don’t wait until I’m dead to bring me flowers. Instead of holding a grudge and looking to argue how about you bring up those good memories now in conversation while they’re still there?

Even though I’m a politician now #politics won’t be discussed heavily at thanksgiving dinner. I used to be the only republican in the family before I #redpilled most of them. So there won’t be a disagreement now like there used to be, but there’s still more enjoyable things to talk about.

Despite all of the hard times that I’ve faced this year I’m thankful that I had the opportunity to run for office and put my ideas out there. I’m thankful for the family, friends, and fans that supported me. I’m thankful for the record breaking over 20,000 people that voted for me in my district. I’m thankful that I received the support of the #brooklyn #conservative and #republican #parties . I’m thankful for everyone that believed in me when many didn’t take me seriously.

I’m also thankful that 2020 is almost over and I’m hoping 2021 is a year filled with better days for all of us. #happythanksgivng 🦃

Dear Friends and Supporters, After a hard fought Dear Friends and Supporters,

After a hard fought battle, the Election is finally over, unfortunately, after all of the votes, including a never-before-seen number of mail-in ballots were counted, it appears that we have fallen short of our goal to win the race.
I want to thank every one of the over 20,000 people who voted for me, everyone who donated to the campaign, and every volunteer that helped me throughout the tough challenge that I faced.
I am also thankful for the hard work and support of the Republican and Conservative Parties and their respective teams, as well as all of those that endorsed my candidacy. Thank you for believing in me when others underestimated me.
I am proud that I did not resort to a character assasignation campaign as we often see in politics. I ran a campaign based on issues and ideas that were never brought up before by any other candidate of any political party. These ideas included regulating bank overdraft fees, property and revenue backed municipal bonds to fund affordable housing, improving education with life skills classes and after school programs, among other ideas. I hope that some of these ideas are implemented by other politicians.
I also hope that my opponent learns from this experience as many of the constituents of our district feel neglected and are fed up with the rise in crime due to the bail reform bill and other legislation that has resulted in an increase in crime.
I am disappointed that we have fallen short of our goal of winning the race, as I was looking forward to fighting to make sure that these changes happened. It has been an amazing experience to see the amount of support that I've received and I thank you all. Now it is time for all of us to work together to overcome the challenges that we face during these difficult times. Thank You
God bless you all and God Bless America!

Repost from @abc7la
Months after L.A. Mayor Eric Garcetti promised activists that the city would slash $150 million from the LAPD budget, the LAPD is announcing significant cuts to specialized units.

Gone is the Sexual Assault Special Section, Homeless Outreach/Engagement, Animal Cruelty Taskforce, Burglary/Auto Theft Special details, and more. Did the calls to "defund the police" go too far? Or not far enough? Tonight at 11 from ABC7 Eyewitness News.
I’m still waiting for a NY state senator or asse I’m still waiting for a NY state senator or assembly member to step up and get to work on removing Cuomo’s emergency dictator powers. The fact that it was given to him in the first place is one thing, but it should’ve been something that’s voted on to renew every 30 days or so. Enough is enough.
